Position Overview: The Commercial Superintendent - Automotive & K-12 Projects will oversee all onsite construction activities and ensure that projects are completed on time and according to project plans and budget. This position is responsible for managing the construction team, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and providing overall project management.
Key Responsibilities: Develop a detailed project plan and timeline, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure that the project is completed according to plan and budget Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that all safety regulations are followed Plan, assign, and direct activities of personnel engaged in the construction process Ensure quality control and compliance with all applicable codes and regulations Maintain effective communications and relationships with clients, subcontractors, and personnel Prepare and maintain records and reports related to job status and performance Ensure that all project materials and equipment are available at the jobsite Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field At least 5 years of experience in Commercial Construction, particularly in K-12 and Higher Education projects Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Knowledge of applicable safety laws and regulations Benefits Full Benefits
