Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in commercial insurance and proven leadership skills. As the Commercial Lines Team Lead, you will play a key role in driving the success of our commercial lines department, overseeing a team of dedicated professionals, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities: Lead and motivate a team of commercial lines professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for business growth and profitability. Oversee the underwriting process, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Foster strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to promote customer satisfaction and retention. Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and business partners. Qualifications: MUST Have current property and casualty license in Texas. Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a proven track record of success. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines. Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office applications. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Professional designation (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ARM) is a plus.
