Distribution Clerk

Job summary
The Distribution Clerk is responsible for accurate data entry, inventory control, and material handling support.This position supports the smooth flow of materials and products in the manufacturing plant.Reports to the Supervisor, Distribution, and does not have direct reports.

Responsibilities
• Accurately enters and maintains data related to inventory, shipments, and manufacturing processes.• Organizes and keeps administrative records up-to-date and readily accessible.• Provides administrative support, including managing schedules and handling correspondence.• Assists in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation.• Coordinates administrative aspects of material movement within the manufacturing plant.• Conducts regular cycle counts and inventory audits.• Assists in resolving discrepancies and quality issues.• Handles administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving processes.• Performs visual inspections and quality checks on materials and finished products.• Facilitates communication within the distribution team and relevant departments.• Maintains awareness of safety protocols and reports any safety concerns.• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and collaborates on implementing enhancements.
Requirements
• Proven experience in administrative roles with a focus on data entry and organizational support.• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in administrative or logistics fields are a plus.• 1+ years of experience in administrative roles.
