Our partner company, a leading entity in the Gear and Power Transmission Industry and part of a prominent group known for being the most significant, privately-owned North American provider of Gears and Gearboxes is currently, seeking a skilled individual for the role of Machine Repair/Rebuild Specialist within our Maintenance Department for the 1st Shift. This role is essential in supporting our diverse global client base across the Commercial, Aerospace, Defense, and Aviation sectors.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
Competent in moving, installing, and maintaining all machine tools used in production, along with plant equipment and the physical building.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with a range of equipment including but not limited to CNC and Non-CNC machinery across various functions, as well as industrial heat treat furnaces.
Skilled in dismantling machine tools, diagnosing issues, replacing damaged or worn parts, and reassembly.
Proficient in making adjustments and repairs to electrical and electronic equipment, ranging from low voltage up to 480V.
Capable of interpreting blueprints and diagrams accurately.
Knowledgeable about hydraulic systems and able to comprehend hydraulic schematic prints.
Experienced in repairing and maintaining both electric and gas-fired hardening furnaces.
Able to maintain blast equipment and associated apparatus related to heat treating.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen or possess a Green Card.
