The Role
As the Workshop

Supervisor,

you will be responsible for the supervision of workshop employees to ensure that all work is completed in compliance with Company quality and safety standards, Company values, and current Company policies and procedures.

This includes overseeing work orders and shop jobs to ensure successful completion, as well

as,

ensuring workshop personnel complete accurate requisitions as required for work orders, and assigned duties

to

meet operational requirements

and delivery dates.
Additionally,

the Workshop Supervisor will:
Participate as part of the workshop team

to

implement initiatives as defined by the Workshop Manager
Respond to customer inquiries on work order status
Ensure conformance to company quality standards
Monitor job cost and provides feedback to

appropriate personnel
Notify manager of any significant deviations from planned work
Coach, motivate, train, evaluate and lead team members to

accomplish

the goals and

objectives

of the workshop
Manage the performance and ensure compliance with company policies for all workshop personnel under their direction
Participate in workshop and personnel scheduling and

monitor

and approves

attendance and work hours
Comply with

SMR safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements
Your Profile
You possess a technical diploma or certification in a mechanical or electrical discipline, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience with mining industry specific equipment, preferably underground or surface mining equipment.

You have experience with business management and lean management, and Lean/Six Sigma certifications would be a plus

.

You

can

develop knowledge

of customer business processes in relation to product

rebuild and

maintain

a dedicated customer focus.
You are flexible and self-motivated, with

a strong sense

of initiative

.

You

possess

well-developed leadership skills, and

a demonstrated ability to lead a team to achieve required targets

.

You

can

see the

big picture, while also

remaining

focused on the details

.

Your

communication skills

(verbal and written) are excellent, and you are

a strong team

player, dedicated to open communication and collaboration

.

You are extremely well-organized

with highly developed time management and organizational skills and are

proficient in the Microsoft Office suite

.
