Job Description SummaryThe tax operations leader is responsible for connecting the Wind segments results across the entire tax operations lifecycle, with a heavy emphasis on efficient processes and building key relationships across finance.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities- Global cash, Effective tax rate & net income estimates/forecasts- Financial reporting (I/S, B/S & Uncertain tax positions)- US tax compliance review, settlement, RTA & audit adjustments- Report non-US compliance, settlements, RTA's & audits- Technical tax accounting- BD integration- Simplification/finance transformation initiatives- Review high risk US CIT account reconciliations- Partner with regional/planning tax groups- Submit consolidated results to Corporate Taxes- Manage operational transfer pricing forecast vs actuals- Manage 3rd party relationships (PwC, Deloitte, etc.)Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting, Finance or Law- 10+ years of experience in taxation or as a tax professional working on multi-national clients' tax-related matters or other GE's businesses, including private law practice, accounting firm practice, industry practice, national tax practice or a combination thereof.- Significant experience with US GAAP ASC 740Desired Characteristics- Post-graduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or with significant academic focus on taxation from accredited university or college- Certified Public Accountant certificate or equivalent professional license is preferred- Ability to evaluate complex proposals and anticipate, identify, and resolve tax-related risks and opportunities- Strong oral and written communication skills – able to communicate complex tax issues, opportunities, and risks to non-tax experts in a simple way- Ability to partner effectively with business management, legal and finance personnel.- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills- PC proficiency- Experience working in a matrix environment- Adaptable/flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or ability to work in ambiguous situations- Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with othersIf contracted in the US:The salary range for this position is 172,900 - 288,100 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
