Job Description:
TravelCenters of America is seeking a reliable and passionate individual to join our team as a Web Chat Representative. This position is a part-time opportunity that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home in New York City, New York. As an Associate Level Web Chat Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat support to help our customers with their travel needs.
Responsibilities:1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance through web chat in a timely and professional manner.2. Identify and resolve customer issues, escalating as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.3. Utilize knowledge of our products and services to guide customers through their travel planning process.4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.5. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve department goals and objectives.6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.7. Complete any additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role.2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.3. Strong planning and organizational abilities.4. High emotional intelligence to effectively handle customer concerns and defuse potentially difficult situations.5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.6. Comfortable using technology and online chat platforms.7. Flexible schedule to accommodate peak business hours.8. Reliable high-speed internet connection.
