Location Mooresboro, NC -- Typical Hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, could vary slightly due to production.
Responsibilities: Monitor workers on site during production activities to ensure adherence to ethics and safety procedures. Evaluate manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality. Ensure that products and goods manufactured meet quality standards obtainable in the industry. Motivate workers to enhance production quantity at the same time maintain high production standards. Check finished products to ensure quality, and that industry standards are met before they are declared ready for use. Work as middleman between workers and management to create healthy communication. Ensure that work materials are present as at when needed. Be a "hands-on" team lead; working alongside team members at all times to assure project completion. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Demonstrates strong organizational skills. Pays close attention to detail. Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy boxes, up to 50 lbs. Exhibits ability to use inventory software efficiently. Possesses basic math and computer skills. Proficient use of Microsoft Office, and Excel. Works well with a team. Communicates clearly and effectively. Manages time efficiently. Demonstrates solid problem-solving skills. Is capable of operating forklifts and other equipment to move heavy shipments. Demonstrates awareness of proper warehouse and factory safety procedures. Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED is preferred. Warehouse experience required. Intermediate computer skills preferred, Microsoft Applications and Google Docs License and certification to operate heavy machinery is strongly preferred Work Environment: Time will be spent in a stockroom, warehouse, or loading dock receiving and transporting deliveries. Moderate to heavy physical labor such as lifting and moving heavy items are required on a regular basis. The temperature in the warehouse or dock varies according to external climate. Standard 40-hour workweek applies. Based on the above essential functions this job is considered to be a safety-sensitive job function.
