Job Summary Warehouse Custodian will perform an array of duties related to maintenance of warehouse facility which will include cleaning and general upkeep of warehouse fulfillment center.
Job Description General housekeeping, trash & recycling Clean & sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the warehouse Maintain breakrooms, restrooms, and common areas – stock with supplies as needed Vacuum carpets; Sweep and mop hard floor surfaces Dust/wipe lights, windows, blind, furniture, pictures, etc. Building and breaking down boxes Cleaning out cabs of trucks and breakage messes Moving product with pallet jack Keep facility grounds free from litter and debris Additional responsibilities as assigned Skills Required 1+ year(s) of custodial experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Capable of being physically active for the entire shift: lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, etc. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meet deadlines Effective organizational and time management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Technical Skills Must Have:
General Housekeeping Hand Tools Heavy-lifting Janitorial Lift 35-48lbs consistently Light Construction Loading Material Handling Order Fulfillment Pneumatic Tools Power Tools Preventative Maintenance Education/Training/Certifications High School Diploma or GED Additional Requirements Comfortable with a variety of tools including hand brooms, vacuums, and powered floor cleaners Self-motivated; Works well unsupervised, Comfortable with changing priorities and time management Dress code: Clean, casual/comfortable garments appropriate for warehouse and inclement weather Clothing must promote safe, professional, and productive environment - No obscene images, profanity, or otherwise disturbing content Shorts are acceptable but should be longer than mid-thigh. No skin-tight, see-through, or baggy clothing. No loose jewelry, and long hair must be pulled back out of face. Long fingernails are not ideal for this environment Sturdy, comfortable closed-toe, closed-back shoes are required - MUST BE WAREHOUSE APPROPRIATE (Steel-toes are not required, but crocs, sandals, 'Ugg' boots, or anything of the like is not permitted. Comfortable boots or athletic shoes are best suited.) Yellow Reflective Safety Vest Shift Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm Pay Rate/Salary $17.50/hr
