Growth Ventures, building on this foundation and in partnership with other businesses including Investment Management, Asset Servicing, and Pershing, is bringing to market a new software-led, API-first solution for the alternative investment and wealth management ecosystems. The new business will leverage, connect and enhance existing strengths while also developing market-first solutions that provide a one-of-a-kind experience for partners and clients. The market being targeted is measured in trillions of dollars with revenue pools in billions, yet it is generally considered a nascent space on the precipice of growth. And while we are building from a robust foundation and position of strength, this is very much an entrepreneurial opportunity to innovate and create new products, new solutions, and a new business.Key Role Responsibilities:We are looking for a full-stack engineer to join a newly created team and work end-to-end on creating the new digital solution. This role will work closely with other engineers and our product team throughout the software development process, providing feedback to design and requirements, reviewing work in progress, and addressing issues found in manual testing.If you are looking to collaborate with great people on exciting, innovative products, thrive in building products that users love, have a strong technical understanding, an eye for design and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then we want to speak to you!The role encompasses:Design and implement scalable client-side and server-side architectureParticipate pair-programming, and provide technical leadership to motivate and guide team membersLead technical discussions and provide technical oversight (including code reviews) to the development work from the teamFoster a culture of learning, innovating, and continuous improvementPromote best engineering practices to deliver software via rapid iterations and frequent releasesWork with product managers and UX designers to provide feedback to product roadmap, requirements, and UX designsActively participate in daily stand-up meetings and other Agile ceremoniesCollaborate with other engineering teams to ensure timely delivery across all the systems at the program levelCoach and mentor junior engineersQualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or related disciplineA minimum of 8 years of full stack technical experience building enterprise SaaS solutions3+ years of Python/Java/Spring Boot development experience, including microservices and event-driven architecture implementation3+ years of hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks2+ years of test automation development using Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
