Who we are At After Hour Animal Hospital, you'll feel the warmth and openness of a small clinic, while having the opportunity and support of a united network. 
We are an emergency hospital that is open nights and weekends. We are a fully equipped veterinary hospital with radiology, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, endoscopy, and a surgery suite.
Provide your best care with more bridges and less barriers. After Hour Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community. 
As a Veterinary Technician Assistant you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
Role Responsibilities: With every hospital function, assist the DVM and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow. Collect and set up laboratory tests.Assist veterinarians and technicians during emergency surgeries and procedures. Prepare surgical packs and surgical sites as directed. Provide client education and collect patient history.Properly and safely restrain patients reliably and with compassion to prepare for procedures performed by technicians and/or doctors.Monitor hospitalized patients.  Other tasks as assigned.  Experience & Skills Requirements: 1 or more years of veterinary medicine experience Self driven accountability for learningPositive attitude Communication and conflict resolution skillsTeam player and willingness to train in all areas of an emergency practiceWeekend and overnight availability You'll Grow With Us Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
