Avery Ranch Animal Hospital is seeking a Receptionist in Cedar Park, Texas.Passionate and caring team player needed.Excellent customer service skills and knowledge of veterinary medical terminology required.

Responsibilities
• Receive and place calls for scheduling.• Maintain proper documentation through client and pet records.• Assist clients by providing necessary instructions, information, and invoices.• Utilize hospital computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients.• Manage the financial needs of the hospital.• Advocate for pets through client education on preventative care and treatment recommendations.• Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, pets, and teammates.• Utilize standard office/business equipment.• Flexible schedule including some weekend and holiday shifts.• Work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction on given assignments.
Requirements
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.• Experience with veterinary software is preferred.• Possession of organizational skills.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to manage stressful situations.• Flexible schedule including some weekend and holiday shifts.
