Our Opportunity Summary
As a DRAM Engineering Group (DEG) Validation Manager at Micron Technology, your team will be responsible for validating our new DRAM products. You will collaborate with many Engineering and Manufacturing groups to ensure our products meet or exceed our functional and quality targets to demonstrate the design is ready for high volume manufacturing. The Validation team is responsible for designing, writing, and driving validation code to evaluate established performance metrics. In this role, you will be an expert on tester operations, capabilities, and limitations as well as a technical resource. You should have experience in product validation flow, code and measurement techniques used to evaluate device performance, including debugging validation tests, and aiding other engineers. Additional responsibilities include an in-depth understanding of standard DRAM interfaces. The seniority level offered will be based on a combination of experience and education.

What's Encouraged Daily:
• Technically lead the team through challenging aspects of the validation flow.
• Develop a quality team culture by utilizing daily standups and directed project evaluations.
• Prepare and update our validation schedule using common project management techniques.
• Train new engineers, deliver instruction, and assist with data analysis.
• Develop the team of Validation Engineers by coaching, establishing goals, encouraging career development, and conducting performance appraisals.
• Own the validation workflow which includes constantly improving our process with automation, test coverage reviews and collaboration with other teams within Micron.
How To Qualify:
• Undergraduate or higher: BSEE/ BSCE / CompSci or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience leading a team within the Semiconductor Industry.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent ability to convey and share ideas verbally and written.
