Vaccine Production Technicians

*Vaccine Production Technicians * Kelly Science is the world's most recognized brand in Scientific Staffing with more than 100 locations in North America, Europe, and the Pacific Rim. We currently have direct hire Vaccine Production Technician positions in Lenexa, Kansas. This is a full-time position where you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K; as well as paid time off-- including holiday, vacation, and sick/personal time.
Technicians assist in tissue/viral cell culturing in a clean room cGMP environment.
Responsibilities: Prepare growth medium to be used during vaccine production.
Basic tissue and viral culturing.
Procedures take place under a Grade A Laminar Air Flow hood in a clean room laboratory.
All laboratory processes must be performed aseptically.
Requires daily gowning with sterile hooded coveralls, goggles, face masks, two pairs of gloves, and clean room boot coverings.
The ability to understand and follow Laboratory SOPs.
All procedures must be thoroughly documented.
Work closely with other technicians.
*Qualifications: * Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred but not required.
Lab or clean room manufacturing experience, beneficial but not required.
Able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English.
Squatting, bending, twisting, and fine motor skills all required.
Details: Direct Hire with Benefits upon start
$19/hr
Multiple shifts available – typically morning shifts.
