Job Description Candidate would be a key contributor to our overall testing team. Working both with internal and external customers. Following one-off testing projects from start to finish. Working with test engineers to bring your work to life. You would participate in team and customer meetings to identify requirements, specification, timelines, and customer expectations. 
Roles and Responsibilities  Helping engineers/customers when needed  Setting up test cells  Cleaning/Organizing test cells and facilities  Building oil conditioning carts  Fabricating and/or machining fixturing  Keeping workspace clean (Shop/Trash cans/Fab room)  Keeping cells running after shop Hours  Maintaining shop inventory  Help engineers' problem solve 
Qualifications Education and Skill Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of relevant work experience in the automotive industry required. 5+ years of leadership experience preferred. 3-5 years' experience working with cross functional teams preferred. Fluency in the English language is required. Demonstrated record of driving results. Strong problem solving, strategic thinking and analytical skills required. Manage human and material resources to meet targets. Able to relay technical information in a way your audience understands. Aptitude to develop a High-Performance Team environment. Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements. Consistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the hours necessary to perform the job. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, customers, and suppliers. Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications and the ability to become proficient any systems that we use (Concur, Kronos, etc.). Flexibility to support service activity both off-site and outside of normal working hours. Organize and maintain efficiency of personal work area. Working knowledge of the automotive industry preferred. Experience in the vehicle testing and validation industry preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organization skills. Able to function as part of a team, with members of varying job levels, and work cooperatively toward team goals. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, customers and suppliers. Organize and maintain efficiency of personal work area. High level of financial literacy required. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Experience navigating difficult conversations to reach the desired outcome. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for traveling between multiple work sites as needed. Valid passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Required on-site work as needed, per our Remote Work Policy. Give and accept instructions and tasks in a positive manner, treating all co-workers with dignity and respect. Consistently adhere to, and support all UTAC policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Physical Demands: Exposure to industry accepted chemicals and noise.  Regularly required to stand, reach, bend and move about the facility. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Able to lift and/or move materials as needed in the performance of assigned duties. Requirements include, but are not limited to stand, walk, sit, twist, bed, life, see, speak, hear. May require occasional travel (locally, nationally, internationally) Hold a current US driving license  Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications  Technical degree in automotive related discipline or equivalent experience  Advanced experience with hand tools required  Understanding of electrical schematics and drawings a plus Good written and verbal communication skills  Team player with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and management  Due to the nature of work, we perform; applicants must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Resident. 1-5+ years of mechanical work in either automotive or fabrication  Familiarity with electric motors, pumps, and VFDs a plus  Ability to work and problem solve on your own vehicle or ATV. Excellent?communication, problem?solving and critical thinking skills  Ability to work hands-on with mechanical and electrical wiring  Creative problem solving  Strong focus on safety & quality  Quick learner in a fast-paced atmosphere.  Flexibility to support test activities both off-site and outside of normal working hours.  Valid US driver's license (chauffeurs, CDL a bonus)  Willing to undergo a Criminal background check.
