The US Banks- Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association ("MSPBNA") and Morgan Stanley Bank, N.A. ("MSBNA") provide cash management and lending products and services to serve the needs of WM & ISG clients. The US Banks team seek a Vice President ("VP") to join the First Line of Defense Business Risk team. He or she will support administration of the first line of defense business risk department.The VP US Banks First LineRisk Officer will be responsible for the following: Key Responsibilities: •   Headcount management and reconciliation including, open requisition pipeline and employee onboarding•   Talent management, including promotion pipeline planning, leadership and development program coordination and talent review processes•   Employee engagement, including coordination of networking opportunities, skip level meetings, survey results and driving mobility across the organization•   Event planning, including leadership staff meetings, speaker series, offsites, town halls, volunteer activities and social engagements•   Location strategy and real estate management•   Expense management and approval for third party vendors and employee activity•   Support for Business and Management Reporting•   Coordination of cross-function projects and communications Required Skills/Experiences:• Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience in financial services industry; preferably in risk management, finance, compliance, or audit.• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (Preferred) • Banking experience (Preferred)• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, both independently and as part of a team, under tight deadlines and with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently, efficiently and effectively.• Attention to detail, strong analytical, quantitative, and investigative problem-solving abilities• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; capable of clear and concise writing, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting positively with upper management, colleagues and clients.• Strong project management and reporting skills• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and reporting toolsMorgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
