We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Underground Operations Production Supervisor, the Underground Production Miner works as an essential member of the production team and is responsible for the following:Able to operate Single and Two Boom JumboAble to operate 6yd and 9yd LoadersAble to understand different rock types and drilling/blasting procedures to minimize over-breakAble to operate mechanized bolterAble to operate shotcrete equipmentAble to handle explosives and load rounds in a safe and productive mannerAble to install utilities such as ventilation and air/water pipePerform other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of the companyThe ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.Qualifications:One (1) year underground mining experiencepreferredPrevious heavy equipment operation experiencepreferredAbility to work safely and effectively in an underground mining environmentrequiredStable, consistent work historyrequiredThank you for your application, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
