Turquoise Ridge - Underground Fixed Maintenance Technician

We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance and repair of both surface and underground mining equipment such as crushers, conveyors, hoists, etc.Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Basic knowledge of conveyor systemsrequiredAbility to troubleshoot and complete repair on all pumpsrequiredBasic fabrication skills including welding and cutting, brazing, arc welding, and air arcrequiredAbility to identify parts needed for repairs by make, model, size, and typerequiredBasic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and the ability to apply those skills to troubleshoot and repair systemspreferredBasic knowledge of hoist and shaft maintenance for an underground minepreferredAbility to read and use precision measuring tools, torque wrenches, and hand toolspreferredExcellent safety and attendance recordrequiredDemonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the jobrequiredThe ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role
