Turbine Module Design Engineer

The Turbine Module Design Engineers with a Design Focus are component owners of hardware to be designed or modified;
Job Duties:

Responsibility for all aspects of design - mechanical design, model/drawing definition, creating a bill of materials and releasing into PLM, supporting hardware procurement and manufacturing /assembly support. Work with Drafting, Sourcing & Manufacturing, and coordinate interfaces across Aero, Heat Transfer, and Materials, and Design teams. Will interact with different teams such as Supply Chain and Manufacturing. Potential to be a component/hardware owner/specialist. While this is a design focus, candidate should still have enough analytic competency to work on models.
Technical Requirements:

Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline. Classic Ansys/mechanical design experience (Structural and thermal) UG/NX experience ( 4 years) At least 4 years of engineering design experience in gas turbine engines Knowledge of FEA and CAD software Strong interpersonal skills Strong oral and written communication skills Customer satisfaction mindset, ability to work well in a team environment with a positive "can do" attitude" About Petroplan
