Truck Driver (Sikeston, Mo)

Job Title: Truck Driver Location: Sikeston, MO Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire Compensation: Starting wage of $0.50 per mile Over-The-Road (OTR) or 21 to 25% of the load pay, whichever is greater. On-Target Earnings 50K-60K/year. Benefits: 401k company match up to 4% Excellent holiday and vacation day Paid Time Off (PTO) Comprehensive benefits package Bonus potential Schedule: Drivers will be home most nights, with approximately two nights per week of traveling. Preferred Qualifications: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Clean driving record Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check Excellent communication skills Responsibilities: Safely operate company-owned trucks to transport goods over long distances Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Report defects, accidents, or violations Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods and endure driving conditions Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects, up to 50 pounds Comfortable with spending nights away from home Company Culture: We value safety above all else and prioritize the well-being of our drivers.
