A Leading Security Solutions Provider is seeking a skilled and dynamic Traveling Construction Superintendent to join our team. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in construction trades, specifically related to the installation of active vehicle barriers (AVB), security fencing, personnel gates, bollards, underground electrical distribution, concrete equipment/parking pads, and passive vehicle barrier (PVB) equipment at access control points (ACPs). This role will involve working on various projects across the United States, including military installations, federal government facilities, industrial sites, data centers, major sporting and event venues, and commercial facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience as a construction supervisor/foreman, superintendent, or quality control manager. They should also have a minimum of five years of experience in excavation, reinforced concrete placement, and industrial fencing installation. The ability to read and understand construction drawings and installation details is essential. A valid driver's license is required, and the candidate must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. A background check and drug test will be required to gain access to military installations and similar areas.
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety criteria and company policy, and coordinating with project managers, client representatives, and other stakeholders. They will also be required to provide daily reports on equipment condition, work performed, and upcoming plans, and to draft and organize daily electronic documentation following each installation or repair visit.
This position involves recurring travel for two to three weeks at a time to project locations throughout the United States. The company will provide a company credit card for approved expenses and a fixed per diem to cover meals and incidental expenses. Hands-on and other training opportunities are available to enhance skills and increase proficiency with a wide variety of physical security infrastructure equipment.
