Responsibilities
• Apply principles of MUTCD and design standards• Develop designs for traffic infrastructure using CAD software• Create project deliverables for government agencies• Perform traffic analyses using analytical programs• Assist with defining project work scopes and budgets• Travel to project/client sites for field work
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline• Strong technical background in CAD and analytical programs• Experience with MDOT, VDOT, PennDOT, DDOT, or City of Baltimore projects• Proficiency in Microsoft Office• Strong attention to detail and quality of project deliverables• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Valid Driver License• EIT certification, PE licensure, or PTOE certification preferred• 1-5 years of traffic engineering experience preferred
