Responsibilities
• Perform analyses, write reports, and complete figures for projects assigned• Assist in preparation of signal design and maintenance of traffic plans• Coordinate and perform the permitting of traffic/transportation engineering projects• Coordinate work with other engineers and interns• Perform field data collection as needed
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning or related degree required• 0 - 3 years of related experience required• FE/EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months• Familiarity with Michigan permitting• Detail oriented and self-starter• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Experience with SYNCHRO/SimTraffic, MMUTCD, AutoCAD or Microstation, ITE Trip Generation Manual required• HCM, HSC, PTV VISUM, PTV VISTRO, Rodel, preferred• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite software
