As the Trade Support Associate in Wholesale Lending Services you will be primarily supporting Global Credit Trading, Loan Total Return Swap and Syndicated Leverage Finance businesses within the Corporate and Investment Bank. This role sits within the Loan Trading Settlements team and will focus on the daily closure and settlement of these trades. Job responsibilities Prepare and execute trade settlement for various loan businesses within currency deadlines Review of all settlement documentation in accordance with the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) and Loan Market Association (LMA) market standard terms and conditions Prepare complex pricing for Distressed loan settlements which may include PIK or other trades flat interest treatments Prepare pricing for Revolver facilities denominated in multiple currencies Assist Settlements manager with overriding exceptions in workflow tools as needed Maintain and investigate complex trade related exceptions, such as Trades Flat interest or other fee disbursements, as well as serve as a subject matter expert for others on the team Monitor general ledger activity related to trade settlement activity and be able to identify and respond on related items queried by Product Control or Finance Serve as a Team Lead when Settlements manager is out of office Communicate frequently with front office, documentation, and accounting and control teams as well as external counterparties Perform ad hoc projects as needed Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business or relevant operations experience within Syndicated Loan Space Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong teamwork skills Risk and Control oriented mindset Detail orientated and able to multi-task Strong attention to detail Strong problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills Basic accounting knowledge Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Familiarity with loan-based software (LoanIQ, ClearPar) Experience with LSTA/LMA standard documentation, knowledge of the LSTA/LMA Standard Terms and Conditions Knowledge of the trade lifecycle and/or experience supporting a trading business Deep understanding of syndicated loans Prior knowledge of loan products or trading operations
