Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in the Credit Trading Operations team to partner with the Business to provide a comprehensive view of Trading Services.
As a Trade Service Analyst within Credit Trading Operations, you are responsible for performing control reconciliations to verify trade positions, investigating settlements, and focusing on process re-engineering and automation. Job responsibilities Carry out daily tasks that may include trade booking, amendments, reconciliation and reporting Interacts with clients and other business areas to facilitate issue resolution Support traders and other key stakeholders Run tight controls and constantly improve them to ensure effectiveness Required qualification, capabilities, and skills Understand the key elements of other infrastructure groups (i.e. Finance, Market risk, Credit risk, Operational risk, Legal, Collateral, etc.) and recognize the impact of the actions of the Trade support team on these areas Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside of the box and challenge the status quo Process flow understanding, including ability to understand current flows and linkage between system and thinks how the process can be improved/streamlined Previous experience in Finance industry (operations roles) is preferred Strong analytical capacity (including accounting knowledge) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including moderate/advance formula composition skills (i.e., extensive "if" statements and "look-up" formulas) Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills Ability to interact with a variety of colleagues and clients Strong written and verbal communications skills Strong problem solving, control, and project management skill Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Understand all relevant securities, derivatives and hedging products executed in the Credit and Public Finance desks Willingness to be flexible and desire to work in a team-oriented environment Work schedule This hybrid role requires going into the office three days a week with two days' flexibility to work from home, subject to change This position is not eligible for H1B or Sponsorship
