Telecommunications Technician Position

Central Electric Power Cooperative is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Telecommunications Technician. Interested individuals should have two years' experience, a minimum of a two-year degree in Telecommunications or IT networking, or an equivalent military telecommunications certification. Directly related telecommunications experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Fiber optic cable splicing, testing and troubleshooting LAN/WAN packet technologies installation, testing and troubleshooting Telecom Transport systems installation, testing and troubleshooting Mobile and fixed location radio systems maintenance and installation Must be able to work at heights and in inclement weather conditions.
