We are looking for a Technical Designer for Children's separates and sets (boy and girl), sizes newborn, infant, toddler through 6X/7 for a top fashion company in Edison, NJ. This position will be hybrid position, 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Responsibilities:Participate in Tech Pack pass off and provide technical support for Design to build necessary detail sketches in development stageUnderstand Design requirement and add size charts to the systemWork with Hub / SCFT for proto / SMS making, both physical and digital samples, accurately translating required aesthetic and fitLead the risk assessment process with Supply, RM & QA to mitigate risk in bulk stageOrganize & prepare fit sessions and interact with Design & Supply teams with necessary technical feedbackProvide fit comments with relevant detail to correct fit/aesthetic issues and move to approvalFollow up with the cross functional team on the risk mitigation action & testing reportsMaintain the block samples & fit samples libraryDay to day emails and follow-upsSupport the leader on building new blocks and projectsRequired Qualifications:5-7+ years experience in a Technical Design role preferred Pattern making & garment construction and make detail knowledge preferredDegree in Technical Design or equivalent work experienceCategory-specific technical expertise – Children's separates and sets (boy and girl), sizes newborn, infant, toddler through 6X/7.
