Hawthorne Elementary School is seeking qualified candidates to apply for a Special Education Teacher position for grades 4K-5th. Bilingual and biliterate (Spanish/English) applicants are preferred, but this is not a requirement. Our ideal candidate must have: Experience teaching in an urban or diverse setting. Strong Classroom management Experience in strong relationships with families to support scholar success. A strong background in using digital tools to enhance instructional technology, and experience integrating iPads in the classroom Experience in a team teaching environment and personalized learning environment.
