Teacher - Remote Wfh

You'll play a pivotal role in providing specialized educational support to students with visual impairments, ensuring they receive equal access to high-quality education.
Working within a virtual platform, you'll collaborate closely with students, parents, and school staff to craft personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each student.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine students' visual needs and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Implement innovative teaching strategies and create engaging learning materials
Offer instruction in Braille, orientation and mobility skills, and utilize assistive technology
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and specialists to uphold inclusive education practices
Conduct regular assessments and progress evaluations to monitor students' academic achievements
Advocate for students' educational rights and raise awareness about challenges related to visual impairments
Qualifications:
Hold a Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
Possess certification in Visual Impairment Education (TVI certification)
Demonstrate proficiency in Braille and familiarity with assistive technologies
Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills
Display empathy, patience, and a strong dedication to supporting visually impaired students
Previous experience in developing IEPs and personalized teaching plans is preferred, though not required
