Salary: $23.00 To 24.00 Hourly
PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding employees, all while factoring in the long-term goals of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside (BGCGRR). They also must promote the company's brand through recruitment initiatives and events. Essentially, your role is to help grow the talent in BGCGRR by finding and nurturing the most suitable people to contribute to a company's future success.
Working hours: 8am - 5pm (full-time, 8 hours per day)
This position will have a variety of working conditions, including:
Office Work (70%-80%)
Job Fairs, recruitment efforts, etc. (20%-30%)
Hours will be primarily Monday through Friday. Hours can vary taking into consideration that a key responsibility of this position is the ability to attend job fairs and recruitment efforts. Some evenings may be required periodically to accommodate job fairs.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Work collaboratively with hiring managers by executing the in-take process to understand their hiring objectives, scope of the role and candidate requirements for open positions. Determine advertising/sourcing strategy, screening questions, interview team, and other process details. Identify, source, and acquire top talent for all assigned hiring needs to effectively fill open positions in a timely manner. Post job openings to recruitment platforms and monitor to ensure relevance and impact. Screen candidates by conducting interviews by using phone, in-person and web-based interview methods in order to effectively and efficiently qualify each candidate. Identify and recommend candidates to hiring managers for interviews. Take initiative and find proactive recruitment solutions and maximize social networking opportunities to increase applicant traffic Source, recruit, and select candidates adhering to the company recruitment policies l for all hiring Create a positive customer experience to all candidates through timely follow-up, effective communication regarding the company's mission, vision, benefit information, and representation of the company brand. Coordinate and participate in job fairs throughout Riverside and San Bernardino County. Responsible for all follow-up work related to employment (rejection letters, adverse letters, and reference checks). Perform Live Scan fingerprinting of applicants. Work collaboratively with hiring managers to manage the applicant through new hire first-day onboarding process including, but not limited to electronic paperwork (i.e., I-9 verification). Track and use key metrics to drive continuous improvements regarding candidate sourcing, recruitment decisions and the quality of hires. Ability to become a Certified CPR First Aide Instructor Maintain and assist with various administrative responsibilities and other projects as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Required – 48 Semester Units or Associates Degree Required – 1-2 yrs experience interviewing and recruiting Required - Knowledge of Indeed and other Job-sourcing websites to proactively source candidates Required - Ability to pass DOJ/FBI Background Checks, Drug Screen, and TB Screening Required – Valid State Driver's License or California ID Card Required - Reliable transportation REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: The ideal candidate has familiarity with the following platforms and/or the ability to learn:
Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook (email & calendar features) Job posting sites (such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, Handshake, etc.) ADP HR and Payroll System The ideal candidate has the following key strengths/skills:

At times, may be responsible for lifting up to 20 pounds in preparing materials for job fairs.
Candidate will need to have reliable transportation throughout the Riverside or San Bernardino area.
