Support Services Coordinator I Location Uintah County, UT : Job Title: Support Services Coordinator I -NERO : Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity to grow your career? The Division of Wildlife Resources is seeking to hire a highly motivated individual to join our fiscal/admin team! In this position, you will prepare and process a variety of accounting documents, transactions, and other accounting-related tasks. You will also provide hunting, fishing, and other wildlife information to the public. Principal Duties: As a Support Services Coordinator I, you will: Enter and retrieve accounting information with the state FINET system Reconcile accounts receivable/payables Receive, research, and respond to incoming questions or complaints and accurately explain rules and policies to the public Provide assistance and/or on-the-job training Sell licenses and permits, providing accurate information about wildlife recreation The Ideal Candida te (will have): State of Utah FINET experience Be self-motivated, organized, prioritize workload and detailed oriented Be willing to learn and adapt to new ways of performing duties Have excellent customer service and communication skills Have an understanding of bookkeeping procedures Have at least 1 year of accounting experience and/or office/clerical experience in a professional setting Have the ability to support professional staff Why you should join our team: The Division of Wildlife Resources is an exciting and unique place to work because of the various opportunities to get out of the office and view/engage with wildlife. Employees hired on or after 7/1/2011 and who have never been in the URS retirement system have two options for retirement in the Tier II System. Tier 2 Hybrid Retirement System. Employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary between both plans (pension and 401(k)) Tier 2 Defined Contribution Plan. Employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary to a 401(k) plan only. Employer contributions to your 401(k) are vested after four years. Paid Time Off: Annual leave and sick leave are accrued at 4 hours per pay period each (4 hours annual, 4 hours sick). Annual leave amounts increase with years of service. We have 12 paid holidays. Requirements: High School Diploma One year accounting experience Valid driver's license Subject to a background check, and pre-employment drug test Must have a valid Utah Drivers license if driving state vehicles Occasional travel to agency meetings
