Position Summary: The Supply Chain Deployment Planner maintains appropriate finished goods inventory to fulfill customer demand requirements at a location and SKU level. This position purchases finished goods from vendors and performs internal replenishment activities. The Supply Chain Deployment Planner may also occasionally perform other Planning or Supply Chain related duties as needed.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Create vendor Purchase Orders (PO) and distribution replenishment shipments that are optimized to minimize costs while maximizing customer service and achieving business objectives Maintain SKU level finished goods inventory levels within guidelines for assigned locations by leveraging Blue Yonder and SAP systems Manage inventory levels within warehouse and transportation constraints Analyze, initiate, and coordinate product movements from location to location to prevent out of stocks and minimize overall breakage, damage, and loss (BD&L) Collaborate with departmental, managerial, and relevant stakeholders to optimize Blue Yonder and SAP system Material Requirements Planning (MRP) settings for finished goods Collaborate with the Master Data Manager to assess network sourcing changes and MRP settings as needed within Blue Yonder and SAP Collaborate with the Demand Planning team to improve SKU/Distribution Center forecasts and identify underperforming SKUs for assigned locations Collaborate with Lifecycle, Commercialization, and Operations to support SKU discontinuations and the rollouts of new, promotional, or limited-time offer (LTO) SKUs Other projects or duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 4 plus years of purchasing or planning experience or HS Diploma/GED and 7 plus years of purchasing or planning experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test Preferred Skills and Experience: Knowledge of Blue Yonder and SAP systems Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) Certifications Physical Demands and Work Environment :
