Position Title: OperationsSupervisor IPOSITION OVERVIEWSupervise, coordinate, and execute the daily maintenance and Safety activities in the Crushing, Tailings, & Milling Department.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSConcentrator Control Room Operatortasks include:Receives turnover from previous shift. Coordinates and attends safety meetings. Monitors and adjusts unit controls to ensure safe and efficient operating conditions. Responds to equipment alerts and communicates with operator to inspect the equipment. Reports equipment malfunctions to supervision. Documents and responds to work order requests. Coordinates activities and sets priorities with operators. Monitors the size and texture of rocks coming from the conveyer belt. Tailings Supervisortasks include:Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining Tailings Dam placement and inspections. Inspects pumping stations to ensure equipment is functioning. Operates the inner pack generator to switches Clarkson valves. Prepares, compiles, and submits reports on work activities, and operation production. Mill 6 Supervisor/Crusher Supervisortasks include:Attends Safety and Operations meetings. Conducts safety meetings with crew and coordinates the activities of workers. Inspects machines and equipment for hazards, operating efficiency, and mechanical/Electrical malfunctions. Orders materials, supplies, and repair of equipment and machinery. Contacts outside contractors to repair operations if needed. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • English language fluency. • Must have High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)A core value of ASARCO LLC is "Safety First."
