Position Overview: The Superintendent Construction is responsible for the successful completion of construction projects through managing and coordinating with the project manager, subcontractors, and other personnel. The Superintendent Construction is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and other team members.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, monitor, and manage the daily activities of construction projects to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards. Collaborate with the project manager to develop an effective project plan, timeline, and budget. Supervise construction crews and subcontractors to ensure the work is completed according to safety regulations, building codes, and designs. Monitor project expenses, equipment, and personnel to ensure the project is on track. Create and manage project schedule and report to stakeholders and team members. Maintain working relationships with clients, contractors, and design professionals. Ensure project compliance with all contractual obligations. Resolve project issues in a timely and cost-effective manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in construction management, engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry with experience in Heavy Civil, Roadways, Highway Construction, and/or Railroad. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain an uninterrupted workflow. Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc) and AutoCAD.
