o Summer School Dates : June 24th - July 26th Orientation: 9 am - 3 PM June 20 (1st session)/July 11 (2nd session) Session 1: June 24 - July 11 Session 2: July 15 - August 1
o Summer School Times: WVES 8:00-12:30; CrES 9:00-1:30 PM High School
o Summer School Location : Manor High In-Person
o Summer School Times: High School 7:00-11:00; Middle School 7:30-11:30 Orientation: 9 am - 3 PM June 20 (1st session)/July 11 (2nd session)
o Summer School Dates: Session 1: June 24-July 11 Session 2: July 15-August 1 Provides nursing care to students; implements grade level screening program for students; maintains and operates a school clinic; prepares and maintains student and clinic records. Provides health care services for students in school system; Performs nursing assessment of each student sent to school health clinic; Makes observations and assesses condition; implements appropriate plan of care for each student examined; After observation and assessment, counsels with student, parents and/or teachers about problems observed; Administers medications and/or treatments; administers first-aid; Screensstudentsfor hearing, vision, height, weight, and blood pressure at appropriate grade levels; Refers students for outside medical care, as needed; Logs information pertaining to student/staff clinic visits and medical care given; Provides instruction on nutrition, hygiene, grooming, weight control, first aid, disease prevention, substance abuse and other related health concerns; provides health educational materials and information Provides health counseling to students, parents and school personnel; Maintains records of medication administration as well as treatments and procedures performed; Reviews student immunization records on all students to ensure that each student is in compliance with state immunization laws for school attendance; maintains immunization records on all students; Provide immunizations to students and staff of Portsmouth Public Schools, as directed by the School Physician; Maintains a neat, attractive clinic; maintains adequate clinic supplies; Performs related tasks as required.
