STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - ENTRY LEVEL (0-4 yrs exp)

(Roaring Fork Valley - Glenwood Springs to Aspen)
$60,000 - $75,000 annual salary + excellent benefits & flexibility

We currently support the Western Slope of Colorado, including Carbondale, Aspen, Snowmass Village, Basalt, Glenwood Springs, Ouray, Ridgway, Telluride, Gypsum, Eagle, Avon, Vail, Gunnison & Crested Butte.

Base Qualifications:
B.S. and/or M.S. in Architectural, Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum of EIT certification, along with or working towards a PE/SE license
Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
Design building structures of wood, steel, concrete, masonry & other materials
Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, other project team members
Provide excellent construction administration, including field observations & formal reports
Apply & continually advance knowledge of structural engineering principles & applicable building/design codes
Efficient use of structural analysis software, including RISA, Dlubal, Enercalc, Forte, etc.
Efficient use of documentation & collaboration software, including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit &/or Archicad to communicate with in-house drafting/modeling team.
Foster strong relationships with our community, clients, architects, contractors, fabricators, engineers & building departments
Be ethical, professional, proactive & thoughtful

Additional Experience of Interest (not required):
Sustainable design

Advanced BIM experience
Advanced knowledge of other applicable technology
