Job Description The Chattanooga plant is a leading global supplier of catalysts and other products and services to petroleum refiners; catalysts for the manufacture of plastics; silica-based engineered and specialty materials for a wide-range of industrial applications; specialty chemicals, additives and materials for commercial and residential construction; and, sealants and coatings for food packaging. Job Responsibilities Include: Responsible for the total stores operation which entails managing the inventory of parts and supplies Receive, stock and maintain all items necessary to keep the plant operating Responsible for the purchasing of all parts and equipment relative to plant operations and capital projects Knowledge across various products such as tools, abrasives, pipes, chemicals, valves & fittings, fasteners, cutting tools, electrical products, PPE etc Maintain correct inventory at established levels through use of SAP and physical inventory Utilize 5S principles to continuously improve Stores organization and housekeeping Continuously identifying cost-savings opportunities Manage Storeroom budget (Annual Operating Plan) Required Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential Must be PC literate including MS Word and Excel Well organized, detail oriented and enjoys being a problem solver Prior Stores management and knowledge of SAP preferred Required Experience High School diploma or equivalent with two to four years experience in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Associates Degree Preferred Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Life Insurance and Disability Grace Wellness Program Flexible Workplace Retirement Plans 401(k) Company Match – Dollar to dollar up to the first 6% Paid Vacation and Holidays Parental Leave Tuition Reimbursement Company Donation Match Program Grace is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for this employment opportunity.
