Store Cleaning Associate

Job summary
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care.Cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store.Supports and embodies a positive store culture.

Responsibilities
• Operate scrubber and buffer, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows.• Maintain floor care cleanliness standards and organizational standards for the entire store.• Support and respond to Front End coverage needs.• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed.• Adhere to operational and loss prevention controls according to company guidelines.• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.• Participate in safety awareness and maintenance of a risk-free environment.• Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
• Excellent customer service skills.• Flexible schedule availability.• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor buffer and scrubber.• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.• Ability to respond to changes and unexpected situations.• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.• Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.• Effective collaboration with peers and supervisors.• Retail customer experience preferred.
