Staff Software Engineer

Job Description:As part of the team you will be responsible for end to end delivery of a feature.Understand the existing native automation framework, running the automation suites, analyzing the results.Ability to design and implement new changes to existing automation framework and automate new test cases.Be responsible for the delivery, be respectful with all team members and support inclusive team cultureUnderstand requirements, develop comprehensive test plans, execute manual and automated test cases, dig deeper into issues, identify root causes and articulate defects clearly.Ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies and processes.Work closely with the Development, Product Management, and cloud Operations teams from design to release of the product/feature.Define cloud deployment procedures and monitors/alerts for the features and work with the cloud deployment team for the implementation.Recreate complex customer and production reported issues to determine root cause and verify the fix.Minimum Requirements: Graduate (PhD) or Masters in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.6+ years of experience as a Software Test Engineer in a networking and security environment.Ability to develop automation scripts using pythonGood understanding of pytest frameworkHas experience in working with Windows platform. Good knowledge of Windows networkingSolid understanding of Test and Agile methodologies.Strong understanding of networking concepts at all layers.Ability to work with remote teams, handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlinesGood understanding of database schema, modeling, Rest APIs , Hypervisors and microservices architecture.Good to have basic System Load and Performance testing knowledgePreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Active Directory, VPN clients is a plus.#LI-KF3
