We are on the lookout for a dedicated Senior Human Resources Associate to join our team on a hybrid basis, contributing both remotely and in-office. This position is essential for a project expected to last 6-7 months, focusing on our peak season. Ideal candidates will be within a 50-mile radius of our office, ready to embrace a flexible work schedule split between 3 days on-site and 2 days working from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately perform data entry related to job changes within our HR Information System (HRIS).
Ensure compliance while processing personnel transactions both manually and electronically.
Digitize and maintain employee files for efficient records retention.
Manage communications related to Leaves of Absence and process unemployment claims with attention to detail.
Offer exemplary customer service to managers, administrative staff, and employees, including handling external verbal verifications.
Support various HR functional areas as needed, contributing to a cohesive team effort.
Coordinate and assist in the scheduling of annual benefits enrollment for staff.
Input benefits information for new hires into the HRIS with accuracy.
Prepare and organize training course materials, ensuring resources are readily available.
Engage in project assessments and conduct internal audits to uphold corporate policies and legal compliance.
Generate reports, maintain process consistency, and offer support across HR systems.
Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the workplace.
Develop and maintain our Construction HR Administration Sharepoint pages, managing document center resources effectively.
Conduct labor studies to support proposal and estimating teams.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven HR background, ideally supported by experience with PeopleSoft.
Minimum of 1 year working in an office environment, with a strong preference for those who have HR-related experience.
A solid foundation in employment law, FMLA, ADA, and other relevant regulations.
Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are highly preferred.
