Sr. Fund Accountant/Analyst

Our client is a top financial services company in a very interesting space!
They are on made up of industry leaders, and currently experiencing a major growth phase. They are looking for a senior fund accountant/analyst to join their team!

This position is expected to be hybrid work schedule, with three days onsite in the offices in Wilmington, DE and two days WFH expected

Responsibilities:
Facilitate the implementation of legally binding agreements for private loans, manage changes in asset ownership, and solve complex transactional challenges for charter banks and asset owners
Perform various account reconciliations and financial analysis for a portfolio of loans, with transaction activity ranging from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of dollars
Responsible for financial reporting activities for company-owned assets, including subsidiary/VIE/SPV entities
Implementation of process improvements, as well as providing enhancements to the overall control environment
Oversee a variety of end-of-month processes for accrual accounting and financial reporting within the Controller's Group

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting/finance or a related field; experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a related field; familiarity with Management Information Systems (MIS) and/or SQL is a plus.
Proficiency in advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLES, etc.
