JOB SUMMARY:Supports workplace engagement, communication, and recognition initiatives for the Entertainment division. In support of Entertainment TAG leadership, this role will obtain, organize, and distribute pertinent information and materials related to Entertainment divisional and departmental events, communication tactics, recognition programs and engagement programs.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Supports the planning and execution of divisional and departmental Entertainment team member recognition and engagement activities. Partners with internal departments during planning and throughout execution. Solicits feedback from team members and leaders to ensure satisfaction and enhance/expand future offerings. Provide post event assessment and key learnings.Supports the administration of on-going recognition & engagement programs. Works with both internal and external partners in order to successfully coordinate programs. Duties include distribution and/or collection of items, communication with internal and external partners, tracking progress and scheduling meetings, all with timeliness and efficiency.Adheres to predetermined budgets as set by department leaders when planning events. Documents all invoices/charges associated events, ensuring the process of payments. Creates and maintains a master calendar for all Entertainment team members activities and programs. Creates schedules and/or timelines for each team member event and program.Maintains information boards and other communication tools across division. Creates standard layout and provides materials for posting as directed by Entertainment leadership. Ensures all postings meet internal standards and are approved prior to posting.Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION:High school degree or GED is required.Technical school is preferred.Associate degree (AA) is preferred.EXPERIENCE:3+ Years experience within the special event, entertainment, or theme park industry preferred;or equivalent combination of education and experience.Your talent, skills and experience will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package.Universal Orlando Resort.Here you can.Universal Orlando is an equal opportunity employer.
