Position Overview:
Join us in ensuring that every child, irrespective of their challenges, receives a tailored and inclusive education. This position entails working in a self-contained classroom with autistic students, primarily in Levels 1 and 2. Students in these levels may exhibit delays socially and academically. Level 1 students integrate increasingly with general education peers but may require support with task focus, mobility, and toileting. Level 2 students primarily remain in the self-contained classroom but engage with general education peers during select classes and activities. Additional support in mobility, toileting, and communication is essential for these students. These classrooms cater to all grade levels, typically divided into K-3, 4-6, 7-9, and high school grades 9-12+.
