Summary:
ProCare Therapys Educational Department seeks a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher experienced with autistic students within the general population to support our school system in New Hope, MN now and the following 2024/2025 school year!Candidatewill work alongside paraprofessionals to provide engaging teaching and learning practices to our young students. Ideal candidates will play a crucial role in positively impacting the lives of our students by directly contributing to the student(s) development. Providing curriculumplans designed to stimulate curiosityand discovery implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Program). Thus, providing direction and guidance to achieve their academic success.
Job Description:
We are looking for a wide range of experience working with students or school aged children providing highly structured classrooms with an emphasis on behavior management, language enrichment and intensive sensory supports. Self-containment rooms, ICTs, assessments, evaluations, non-verbal communication skills & preparing students for transition into the next grade level.

Qualifications:
Bachelors or masters level in special education from accreditedcollege
In State special education teaching certificate
Strong Communication and collaboration skills with co-teachers, children, and families
