Sous Chef

Block Restaurant in Provo, UT is looking for a sous chef to join our team. We are located on 3330 N University Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, engaged, and passionate. Responsibilities
Train and develop cooks to block standards Help the chef create new dishes and menus seasonally Help the chef ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds our standards Help the chef maintain food quality and kithcen cleanliness Qualifications
High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume Must be proficient in line cooking and prep This is a salaried position starting between $50,000 - $55,000 annually pending on experience
