Design, develop and integrate digital solutions to solve business and technical requirements across web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate must be passionate about technology, love to write code and solve problems. The individual should be self-motivated quick learner who loves to learn and share knowledge. Should be fluent in specific areas and have proficiency in many others. Should be able to lead a team by providing guidance, code reviews and design recommendations. The individual should take full ownership and accountability for their work. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain high quality digital software for SPA applications that provide self-service capabilities to our customers Develop cloud native web services that are reusable and scalable Write clean, secure, efficient and modular code. Simplify and improve existing application code ensuring high unit test coverage Identify potential problems and resolve platform bottlenecks Collaborate with team members, product owners, user experience team, and other engineers to define, design, and publish new features Maintain cutting edge knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends and standards. Leading a team providing guidance, code reviews and design recommendations. Qualifications: MUST BE a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline strongly preferred, In lieu of bachelor's degree candidate will need typically ten or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of five years' experience application program development, OR the equivalent in education and work experience. Proficiency with Typescript, Angular, NgRx, Node, Koa, Express Extensive with Single Page Application frameworks and reusable components Experience developing public (client-side consumable) APIs Experience with web application security practices Desired Experience: Experience with monorepo Experience with AWS serverless technologies and concepts: Lambda, KMS, Edge Gateway, Elasticache, DynamoDB Experience with AWS EKS, Docker or other container-based solution Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
