Open to W2 candidates only! Position Description:
• This position will be part of the IERP API Enablement and Enhancements teams in the Enterprise Architecture - Foundational Products group and this team is responsible to provide API Enablement and Enhancements development services using ABAP programming and ODATA services.
• Design and develop APIs to connect to SAP/Non-SAP using RFC, ALE/IDOCs, Output Programming using SAP Script, Smart forms, Adobe Forms.
• Integration with non-SAP systems using Web Services/Proxies/APIs.
• Experience designing and maintaining Core Data Services (CDS) views and AMDP classes.
• Enhancing SAP system using BADI's, User exits, Customer exits and enhancement framework options.
• Build RICEFW's (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows)
• Experience with IDOC and API Integrations using OData API, SOAP API and IDOC as XML.
• Good understanding of XML, JSON, SOAP, API, and REST Web services
• Performance Tuning, critical thinking skills and Debugging/Defect Management
• Strong experience in ABAP programming and development of ODATA services (preferably OOPS based).
• Good experience in ABAP Syntax 7.4 and in BRF and in SAP upgrade projects
• To consult with architects to ensure design compliant to architecture standards and principles.
• Reviews code developed by software engineers and provides feedback to ensure quality deliverable.
• Ensures technical inspections are performed at appropriate stages of development.
• Lead creation of production support documentation and provide production support for the objects developed.
• Minimum two full SAP life cycle S/4 implementations experience, preferably in the Finance, Purchasing and Manufacturing modules.
• Exposure to SAP Cloud and BTP integration platform is preferred.
