Responsibilities
• Comparing identifying information and verifying shipments• Checking, balancing, and preparing control documents• Entering billing and receiving information• Inspecting receiving reports and matching invoices• Processing shipping documents and answering inquiries• Preparing freight costs and giving shipments to Supervisor• Unpacking and examining incoming shipments• Rejecting damaged items and recording shortages• Routing items to departments• Performing other requested or needed duties
Requirements
• Experience with Microsoft Office• Familiarity with bills of lading and various forms• Ability to use carriers' websites for shipping cost calculation• Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software preferred• High School diploma preferred• Customer service orientation and professional integrity• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks• Required to read and write English and follow verbal instructions• Simple math abilities• Criminal Background Check and Pre-employment Drug Screen
