The Shift Leader is responsible to run the restaurant, treating it like it is his/her own, with a focus on stewardship and daily improvement for himself/herself as well as the team. The Shift Manager may be responsible for opening, closing, or working any shifts between such but is ultimately the driver of the shift to ensure the best possible guest experience. Must be 18+. A Shift Supervisor coaches, encourages, holds accountabilities, communicates goals and performance in regards to such goals, and helps breed a culture of positivity and high-performance.
Shift Supervisors report directly to the Director of their given department (Catering & Hospitality, Drive-Thru, Training, and/or Kitchen) while also working closely with any and all Directors/Senior Leadership, taking direction and coaching from each of them with a servant's heart and an eagerness to improve. Be a lead executer of Speed of Service. Ensure the HOH team is consistently following LEAN procedures to ensure the fastest yet freshest product for the guest. Complete daily Jolt checklist walkthroughs, RQAs, opening/closing checklists, and ensure completion of cleaning checklists etc. Ensure Layouts are done prior to beginning of shifts, also ensuring aces are in places and all needed coverage is present Check to ensure appropriate catering orders are in the system, communicated to the HOH team, and [if applicable] deliverer is aware and set-up for success. Effectively and superiorly supervise shifts, ensuring aces are in places and we are set-up for success, ensuring that success or following-up to see where the opportunities arose in the case that the shift was not a success. Communicate with Director of Training and Development daily/weekly about wins/opportunities within the restaurant. Share with Director of Training and Development what we are working to improve. Ensure best-in-the-industry safety and security standards. Requirements * Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date
* Saturday availability is required for all team members (typical schedule includes 1-3 Saturdays/month depending on availability and needs of the business)
