This position is an entry-level helpdesk role focused on first-tier support and triage of IT incidents. This position will perform troubleshooting and remediation of Windows Operating Systems and applications and will escalate issues to the correct IT resource, when necessary.
Responds to helpdesk incidents as an employee's initial point of contact to triage, remediate, or escalate service tickets. Troubleshoots basic hardware and software problems via remote tool to work within defined Service Level Agreements ("SLAs"). Works with senior IT staff to resolve more complex or advanced issues. Performs various maintenance of desktop computer equipment, which may include any of the following tasks: Installation and configuration of PC hardware and software, including printers, scanners and other desktop peripherals. Monitoring of security hotfixes and patch status and installation of necessary security updates. Active Directory Security changes Maintains an excellent working relationship with Information Services customers and works proactively to fulfill customer needs. Participates in Service Delivery Team meetings and Information Services Department meetings. Assists with maintenance of departmental procedures documents. Maintains competency in the areas listed above and stays abreast of new technologies and information security risks. Performs other duties as assigned. The Perks!

Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. In addition to education in the field of business or information technology, a technical school certificate or a minimum of 1 year of comparable work experience is required. MCDST, COMPTIA A+, or comparable certifications, are preferred. Must have a strong understanding of information technology and information security. Banking or financial experience is preferred.
